Sport training and phyisical activity theory and methodology course.
The student learns in this teaching module the main technical and methodological approaches to training in various sports (top, school, leisure, health), with emphasis on the subject of biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system and its influence Exercising on the bioenergetic model and training, power parameters and capabilities of bioenergetic mechanisms, definition, program and training objectives, loading concepts, super compensation, extent of workload, coordination skills and conditional, strength training and speed, structuring of a training session.
At the end of the teaching module, the student will: understand the different components of physical and sporting performance; will know the classification and definition of motor and sport skills; will be able to identify the most appropriate methods and exercises to train different motor and sport skills; will be able to program the workload of the chosen exercises; will be able to measure and control the effects of the workload in order to achieve the training goals; will understand how to diversify training based on the different sports disciplines and the student's fitness level; will know the fundamental principles of sports training; will be able to work in a group, respecting the rules of a Team Based Learning teching methodology.

Students who are unable to take the TBL test part during the course, on the day of the exam, after the 2 open questions, will have to take 15 closed multiple choice questions on the course's aulaweb, about all program (18 minutes to answer).
The Written Exam will evaluate the theoretical understanding of the following topics: Factors of Physical and Sports Performance; Training methods for different motor skills in athletes and developmental age subjects; Programming and Control of the Workload of the exercises chosen based on the different Training Objectives.
Those who accept and will be able to take the exam method for part of the Team Based Learning program will have to:1) during the course take the test of individual knowledge of some parts of the study program; 2) during the course participate in group work on case studies or problems to be solved; 3) at the end of the course support the peer evaluation.
Those who are unable to take the TBL assessment will also have to take 15 closed-ended questions in the exam, which will test their understanding of the entire teaching study program (see Program/Content), where each topic must be studied both on teaching materials on aulaweb and, in an in-depth and complete manner, in the recommended textbook (Weineck "Optimal training").
