An internship at organizations or companies is a tool that allows students to gain experience in the working world.
The internship is optional and corresponds to a variable number of credits, from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 credits; each credit corresponds to approximately one week of work at the host company (25 hours).
An internship consists of a period of continuous full-time work at an affiliated institution or company. Each full-time week (or equivalently 25 hours) will be counted as 1 CFU.
With an internship at organizations or companies, the student has the opportunity to use the modeling and analytical skills acquired throughout their entire educational path and to begin developing the competencies and professionalism necessary for their future career.
The steps to follow are:
The internship program will be agreed upon with the chosen organization/company.
Ricevimento: On appointment
MATTEO SANTACESARIA (President)
FEDERICO BENVENUTO
ALBERTO SORRENTINO (President Substitute)
The start of the internship is agreed upon between the student and the organization/company.
At the end of the internship, the student is required to submit a written report (approximately two to four pages in length) that describes the topic covered and the tasks performed. A template can be found on the course's Aulaweb site. At this point, the Committee will evaluate the work done (they may request corrections to the report) and will proceed with the recording of the credits.
