The course introduces the basic aspects of analog and digital electronics, focusing on components typically used in power electronic systems.
Acquisition of basic theoretical knowledge and technical references for the design and experimental verification of digital and analog electronic circuits.
To provide basic skills on the main electronic components (analog and digital) and on the tools for analyzing and designing simple electronic circuits. To introduce the fundamental power electronic components and their related control circuitry.
Circuit analysis
Lectures and laboratory activities. In the lab, students, divided into groups, will practice with electronic instrumentation for the characterization of diodes and transistors and will have the opportunity to build simple circuits with operational amplifiers and logic circuits.
Students having disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders can request suitable aids for the examinations. Such aids will be defined according to specific needs, together with the Referent for the Polytechnic School of the Committe for the inclusion of Students with Disabilites and with SLD. Students in such conditions are invited to get in touch (via e-mail) with the Teacher a sufficient time before the examination, inserting in copy the Referent for the Polytechninc School (https://unige.it/en/commissioni/comitatoperlinclusionedeglistudenticondisabilita.html), without sending any document about their disabilites.
