The objective of the module is to teach the fundamental aspects of (in particular Italian) juridical system, in order that students may attend profitably the second module of the teaching and may also understand the problematical issues likely to emerge from other not-juridical teachings of the Course of degree.
The teaching will help students to learn the most important juridical concepts which are necessary in order to understand environmental law.
The teaching will be held in presence. If health situation requires distance lessons, totally or partially, notice will be given through Aulaweb page of the teaching: in both cases, lessons will be held online.
The teaching will concern useful topics for studying environment law, among which:
meanings of law,
notion of juridical system,
State and its organs,
local bodies,
sources of law and the criteria to solve conflicts between them,
notions of nullity and annulment,
administrative act: elements and defects,
recourses against legislative acts and against administrative acts,
rights and duties of the persons,
elements of international law,
elements of European Union law,
kinds af liability: civil liability, criminal liability and administrative liability.

The exam will consist in a test of 30 questions: for each question there will be the choice among three answers.
Students with learning disorders ("disturbi specifici di apprendimento - DSA) will be allowed to use specific modalities and supports that will be determined on a case-by-case basis in agreement with the delegate of the Engineering courses in the Committee for the Inclusion of Students with Disabilities.
The exam grade will depend on the number of correct answers given by the student (for instance, the exam grade will be 28 if the student will answer correctly to 28 among the 30 questions of the text).
