Part-time enrolment

If you know you cannot devote yourself full-time to your studies, you can choose to enrol part-time, with a reduction in the amount of tuition fees, equal to the category of part-time you choose from:

  • 1st category - up to 15 CFUs: pay a contribution equal to 25% of the amount due
  • 2nd category - up to 30 credits: you pay a contribution equal to 50% of the amount due
  • .

To compile a part-time study plan, you must access the compilation of an individual plan. Each year, when compiling your study plan, you can change the category, or decide to go back to full-time.

Study plan

This is the pathway comprising all the educational activities (lectures, workshops, etc.) that you have to undertake in order to obtain your degree. Some activities are compulsory, others must be chosen from several options, and others are free choice. The study plan must be completed each year. Filling in the study plan, within the set deadlines and correctly, is indispensable for you to be able to enrol and take your exams.

Study plans are filled out in October exclusively online from the Online Services for students.

The office that manages study plan entry in student careers is the Sportello Unico

.

If you have any difficulties in filling in the form, you can get support from the student tutors, who hold receptions in Aula O in Via Balbi 4.

Teaching schedules

In the fact sheet for each course published on the UniGe website, you will find information on the objectives and content, bibliography, course lecturer and examination procedures.

Lesson timetable

You can consult the class schedule via the Easyacademy

portal.

Evaluation of teaching

Attending and non-attending students must complete the evaluation questionnaire by accessing the Online Services page of UniGe.

There are two surveys available: Teaching assessment and Yearly study course assessment, both anonymous. For the assessment of individual courses, you will need to wait until the study plan is included in your career.

Examinations

You can consult the calendar of exam dates via the Easyacademy
portal. Registration for exams is compulsory and must generally be done at least 5 days before the date of the exam you wish to register for (or other deadline set by the lecturer).

Registration must be done online from the dedicated page
. From here you can view the exams that have been included in the syllabus and for which you can book an appeal of your choice. In addition, you can view the exams for which you have already booked and cancel your booking if necessary.

Tutoring service

Tutors are a point of reference for students, especially freshmen: they are available for assistance in compiling study plans and other paperwork, such as filling out degree applications. The tutors are always available by e-mail to answer questions from their colleagues.

The orientation tutors are available every week in Balbi 4, room O, ground floor; the teaching tutors provide support in the preparation of examinations or individual teaching units, in practising for classical language examinations and can also provide support in the editorial aspects of final examinations.

Read the Freshman Handbook for more information.
