The Ministry of Education and Merit announces that, on the basis of specific Cultural Agreements, positions are available for Italian Language Assistants, assisting Italian language teachers in schools in 7 European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Spain.

The aim of the Programme is to contribute to the promotion and knowledge of the Italian language and culture. The activity of the language assistant covers a period of approximately eight months in one or more institutions of various levels and involves a commitment of approximately 12 hours per week, in return for which a variable fee is paid depending on the country of destination. The service starts between September and October and ends between April and June.

To participate, certain requirements are necessary: to be under 30 years of age, not to have already served as an assistant on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Merit, and to hold a Master's degree among those listed in the notice: https://www.mim.gov.it/web/guest/-/avviso-n-59-del-6-febbraio-2025

The application deadline is set at 7 March at 23.59. A provisional ranking list will be published in the weeks following the application deadline.
