Learning objectives

  1. Recognition of the indications and contraindications of Osteopathic Manual Treatment together with interdisciplinary therapeutic opportunities in the field of preventive medicine

  3. Osteopathic treatment planning and preparation of treatment modalities recognising exclusively manual, non-invasive, external, osteopathic approaches and techniques appropriate to the patient and clinical context.
  4. Awareness of the merits and method of osteopathic application techniques, proper to the most complete and complex manual therapy.
  5. First-contact management of patients with chronicity whose algico-dysfunctional conditions may benefit from Osteopathic Manual Treatment in order to prevent the manifestation of recurrences, enhance the state of health and improve the quality of life.
  6. Refining and updating interdisciplinary care knowledge through up-to-date interpretations of manual therapy techniques in their integrated diagnostic and therapeutic complexity.

Admission requirements

Three-year degree in the health professions (lsnt/1, lsnt/2, lsnt/3, lsnt/4) obtained according to the current system or equivalent qualifications,
University degree in the health professions obtained according to the previous system or equivalent qualifications,
Diploma in exercise science (current and former system).
