You can only enter this course if you have a university degree or an equivalent qualification (previous university degree, university diploma - 3 years, direct school for special purposes - 3 years) and if you meet specific requirements.

Curricular requirements

To enrol on this course you must hold a university degree, a three-year degree or a university diploma of three years' duration, as well as equivalent qualifications obtained also abroad, with at least 60 CFUs in the following fields:

  • M-STO/01, M-STO/02, M-STO/03, M-STO/04, M-STO/05, M-STO/08, M-STO/09, MGGR/01, L-FIL-LET/08, L-FIL-LET/10, L-LIN/01, L-OR/01, L-OR/08, L-LIN/10, M-DEA/01, M-FIL/02, M-FIL/03, M-FIL/06, M-FIL/07, M-FIL/08, SECS-P/12, SPS/05

If you have obtained a Bachelor's degree in History*, you do not have to undergo the verification of the curricular requirements, but can go directly to the admission interview. You are exempt from the latter if you have obtained a degree mark of 104/110 or higher.

*If your first-level degree in History belongs to the ex-MD 509/99 class, the exemption applies provided the degree was obtained at the University of Genoa.
