Oral exam.
The course includes an oral exam. The assessment of the student’s preparation is based primarily on general questions that allow evaluation of the student’s ability to frame topics, use of disciplinary terminology, fluency in applying specific knowledge, and ability to explain the proposed topic while making appropriate interdisciplinary connections, without deviating from the subject matter of the exam syllabus. If deemed necessary, targeted questions will be asked to assess the student’s knowledge on specific content areas of the discipline. The oral exam will be a structured dialogue in which the student’s ability to respond to requests for clarification or comments on specific aspects of their presentation is evaluated.
