AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The objectives of the course are: to illustrate the changing concept of'poverty' over time, to analytically explore its various dimensions and theoretical perspectives. The methodological tools for the analysis of poverty in its many facets will be acquired. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The purposes of the course are: To analyze the concept of ‘poverty’ in its various dimensions; To analyze the main theoretical approaches to the concept of ‘poverty’; To acquire the methodological tools for the analysis of needs and the changes related to the systems of governance due to demographic, social, cultural and economic changes; TEACHING METHODS Frontal classes.
