The course aims at providing the basic concepts of binary logic and arithmetic for the analysis and design of digital systems.
This course is composed of two modules: Digital Systems Design and Computer Architecture. The aim of the course is to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in the design of digital systems and the understanding of modern computer architecture. By the end of the course, students will have acquired the necessary skills to design and analyze digital systems and to understand and describe the architecture of modern computers, preparing them for more advanced studies in computer engineering and system design.
