The course is aimed at deepening the fundamentals of drawing with particular attention to conventions and practices used in the naval field.
The module is aimed at deepening the fundamentals of drawing with particular attention to the conventions and practices used in the naval field.
The course proposes the interpretation of representation as a language through which to effectively formulate different phases: both cognitive and propositive. In particular, the pragmatic adequacy of various graphic expressions is explored, especially in relation to the formulation of the project.
Nobody
The course is organized with a series of lessons that have a first part of theoretical study followed by an application exercise.
Each exercise is handed in by the student and handed in corrected at the next lesson.
The final evaluation is based on the average of the grades of the exercises handed in and the grade obtained in a final test.
The program is structured around the following themes:
- Definitions of conventions and founding elements of drawing
- Principles of projective and descriptive geometry
- Orthogonal projections
- Sections and applications such as the Construction Plan
- Axonometry: three-dimensional narratives and formal investigations
- Perspective: design sketch and representation of perceptive aspects

The final exam consists of a drawing test on a chosen theme, previously agreed with the teacher. The final test is aimed at demonstrating that the student has acquired the ability of graphic expression necessary for the 'visual' narration of a theme.
The final grade is based on the grade (average) of the exercises and the final test.
The exercises that have received an insufficient grade can be redone and graded again; in this case only the best grade will be taken into account.
The assessment of the acquired skills is conducted both in itinere with the evaluation of the monothematic exercises and with the development of the final test.
Students with disabilities or DSA can request compensatory/dispensatory measures for the exam.
