The design process will be carried out up to the executive level within a BIM (Building Information Modeling) environment. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The executive architectural project represents the phase in which the designer’s creative and subjective vision is integrated with the technical and objective framework of building regulations and construction knowledge. Through the development of the executive project, students will acquire the ability to translate design decisions into detailed, technically consistent, and feasible construction solutions, in compliance with current regulations. Throughout this process, advanced digital tools (such as BIM and parametric modeling) are employed as operational supports to effectively integrate the various disciplinary fields involved. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The course is designed to provide students with specific skills related to the development of the architectural project at the executive phase. By the end of the course, students will be able to: Develop an architectural project at executive level, accurately defining construction details, materials, and technical solutions; Translate the project into a digital environment using BIM tools for the coordinated and integrated management of design information; Produce the executive drawings required for the construction phase, in compliance with technical regulations and building requirements. PREREQUISITES Architectural design experience gained in curricular teaching. TEACHING METHODS Lectures covering the core topics of the course Practical classroom sessions focused on the digitalization of design documents SYLLABUS/CONTENT The main topics covered include: The role and objectives of the executive project within the building process Relevant technical regulations and performance requirements Construction systems, materials, and architectural detailing Representation and communication of executive details Information modeling in a BIM environment RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY Lecture materials (in PDF format) will be made available on the course’s Microsoft Teams platform, shared with enrolled students.
