At the end of the course, the student must: . Know in depth the various surgical techniques (conservative, resective, regenerative) · Know mucogingival surgical techniques · Be able to recognize and diagnose and treat periodontal disease
Clinical activity carried out directly by the students under the supervision of clinical tutors in University and Hospital clinical divisions.

Oral interview with discussion of clinical cases
The student must document attendance at at least 75% of the scheduled teaching commitments by presenting the appropriate register and the certification of the clinical tutors on the individual clinical maneuvers carried out.
In the oral interview, the ability to formulate a correct diagnosis and a correct treatment plan using correct terminology is assessed.
Punctuality, individual behavior, personal hygiene, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, correctness and professionalism in relationships with the patient, with the clinical tutors and with the dental teams encountered during the clinical internship are integral parts of the evaluation.
