Learning outcomes for the course are designed to ensure students can identify and describe various oral lesions, interpret laboratory and clinical data, and apply this knowledge in clinical practice. By the end of the course, students should be proficient in recognizing oral pathological conditions and implementing appropriate treatment plans, ultimately enhancing patient care and advancing their expertise in dental medicine.
The course includes a professional clinical internship carried out in the university dental clinic and in affiliated hospital departments. The students, followed by dedicated tutors, will intervene directly on the patient as first operators with progressively increasing degrees of autonomy. Attendance is mandatory.
