- develop a critical knowledge on contemporary migrations and processes of social incorporation

- analysing relationship between policies, migrations and citizenship

TEACHING METHODS

The course opts for a teaching method focussed on participation, direct experience, knowledge co-production

The course will use films and images produced by the Laboratory for Visual Sociology

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The course will develop the following subjects:

• causes and effects of migration;
• grassroots solidarity;
• migration and generations; 
• migration, schools and second generation;
• citizenship and migration policies.
