To develop personal skills in the field of urgent diagnostic and interventional procedures. To know how to perfom cardiac stress tests and echocardiography. To know the main devices, materials and procedures used in the operating theatre and their function. To be able to manage a patient with extracorporeal circulation. To be able to process the intraoperatory blood pool collected from different surgical procedures.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
