AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The purpose of the teaching involves that the student

- knows how to diagnose and knows how to treat surgically the most frequent orthopedic diseases

- knows how to identify and solve the patient's problems by relating with him and his family

- knows how to interact and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals

These goals will be verified for each student at the exam.

TEACHING METHODS

Lectures

Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The dealt topics will be:

     Politrauma
     Fractures and dislocations
     Immobilization of injuries
     Sports traumatology
