Cognitive learning of the main diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and biliary system, both for medical and surgical interest. The student is expected to be able to recognize the physiopathological basis, the morphologic alteration and the clinical signs of the main diseases and their complications. Moreover, the student will have to be able to determine an evaluation and the prognosis.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
