Please refer to what is written for the course of Applied Physics.
This module develops specific training in heat transfer, analyzing the three main mechanisms: conduction, convection, and radiation. Applications to buildings and their systems are then considered. The principles of the thermodynamics of moist air are introduced, along with their applications to air conditioning systems and phenomena such as surface and interstitial condensation. An introduction to electrical systems completes the course.
Heat Transfer in Buildings: Thermal behavior of transparent walls. Thermal behavior of opaque walls.
Psychrometrics: Thermodynamics of moist air. Psychometric functions and their relations. Fundamental transformations of moist air. Psychrometric diagrams. Psychrometric measurements. Surface and interstitial condensation.
Air Conditioning: Thermohygrometric comfort. Buildings energy and mass balance. Air conditioning plants. Summer air conditioning. Winter air conditioning.
