This course is aimed at providing the knowledge about basic numerical methods and of optimization, and their application to design problems and management of electrical power systems.
It is subdivided into two modules, namely Metodi Numerici di base e tecniche di Ottimizzazione and Tecniche di Ottimizzazione per i Sistemi Elettrici, for further detail the Student is invited to read the pages of the two composing modules.
The teaching aims to illustrate the main algorithms used in the numerical modeling of industrial devices and to introduce techniques for the design and operational optimization of industrial devices. Furthermore, the teaching introduces the main optimization problems and presents the principal solution techniques, with the goal of guiding students in their application across various areas of electrical engineering.
There are no specific requirements.
