The teaching of Private Law Institutions has as its object the study of the foundations of the legal discipline applicable to the relationships between private subjects. The proposed program favors national positive law, without neglecting to underline the connections with the law of the European Union. It is a fundamental teaching whatever the professional outlet towards which the students will orient themselves.
The teaching is aimed at providing the fundamental notions on the main themes of private law such as the rights of subjects and the protection of persons, family, property and real rights, obligations, contracts in general and civil liability.

The course will take place in the second semester according to the timetable that will be published in due course.
The exam will consist of an oral interview. Intermediate or preliminary tests may be provided for attending students.
Students in possession of a regular disability certification or DSA diagnosis may request to avail themselves of compensatory measures during the exam tests (e.g. additional time, concept maps, changes in the written/oral modality), following the procedure indicated in the guidelines (p. 5) published here. The exam aims to verify that the student is able to orient himself in the private legal system, knows its categories and institutions and has acquired the ability to apply rules and disciplines to specific cases.
