Course Council Coordinator

He is in charge of carrying out the functions assigned to him by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations:

  • coordinates the committees and those responsible for the activities of the Degree Course
  • .
  • convenes the Council of the Degree Course
  • .
  • approves the SUA-CdS, the SMA and the RCR
  • .
  • chairs the monthly meetings of the Course Coordinators

Course QA Committee

It deals with:

  • compiling and updating the Annual Single Form (SUA-CdS) and the Annual Monitoring Form (SMA)
  • .
  • edit the Cyclic Review Report (RCR) and monitor the progress of the proposed improvement activities
  • .
  • analyse teaching evaluation questionnaires, Almalaurea questionnaires, School Joint Commission reports
  • monitor student careers
  • .
  • monitor reports and requests from students, lecturers and technical-administrative staff
  • .
  • identify training demand and training objectives
  • develop the training pathway
  • revise each year the didactics and didactic regulations of the study course

Teaching Commission

It deals with:

  • verify teaching facilities and student services
  • verify the CFUs in relation to the teaching load and progression through the semesters
  • revise admission requirements and arrangements for mid-term and final examinations
  • check the information in the teaching schedules
  • monitor the course of study and organise it taking into account the needs of facilities and services
  • monitor students' careers
  • revise the didactics and didactic regulations of the degree course
  • evaluate the formation of the CdS by analysing the coherence of the course of study and training activities

Steering Committee

It deals with:

  • expressing the needs coming from society and the world of work and culture
  • providing an opinion on the consistency of the study pathway and specific training activities with the demand for training
  • define the planning of access to the degree course for the following academic year together with:
    • Representatives of professional and trade associations
    • .
    • School Representation
    • .
    • Representatives of the Liguria Region
    • .

Responsible for traineeships, internships and job orientation

It deals with:

  • managing and organising the placement activities of the three-year course
  • collect the opinions of the traineeship tutors from the institutions at which the traineeships were carried out
  • collect the placement guides' assessments of the students' activities
  • supervise the entire vocational training of students over the three-year period, also in relation to postgraduate professional opportunities
  • to act as an intermediary between students and those responsible for the coordination and operation of the various Operating Units

Responsible for study guidance and tutoring

Inbound guidance and tutoring activities are managed and coordinated by a specific SMF School Commission, whose functions and responsibilities are described in the specific SUA CdS framework (B5).

In addition, the degree programme makes use of an Apprenticeship Coordinator and Apprenticeship Tutors for the reception and initial orientation of enrolled students, at the Course's training sites.

The tutoring activities relating to the conduct of the Traineeship are entrusted to specific professional figures, identified every three years as provided for by the specific regulations on the Degree/Master's Degree Courses of the health professions.

Responsible for the website

It deals with:

  • updating and verifying information on the study course website
  • .
  • checking that transparency requirements are met
  • collect suggestions from students to improve content

Responsible for coordinating the timetable of lessons and examinations

It deals with:

  • managing class schedules so as to avoid overlapping
  • optimise the distribution of exam dates
  • optimise the distribution of exams according to the constraints of propaedeuticity, in agreement with the coordinators of the integrated courses

Responsible for international activities

International activities are managed and coordinated by a specific committee at the SMF School level, whose functions and responsibilities are described in the SUA CdS framework (B5).

The department has an Erasmus contact person who acts as a liaison between the committee and the course co-ordinators.

Responsible for Departmental Quality Assurance (RAQ)
