In February 2026, an agreement was signed for the awarding of a double degree in the course of Master's Degree in Philology and Sciences of Antiquity (University of Genoa) and the Máster en Estudios Clásicos (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Alcalá de Henares).

Admitted students carry out part of their studies abroad and obtain a double degree, in Italy and Spain.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCESS AND MODALITIES OF PARTICIPATION

All students enrolled in the first year of the degree programme in Philology and Sciences of Antiquity who have a knowledge of Spanish (level B2) may be admitted to this double degree programme.

An annual call for applications is published and 2 places are available for the University of Genoa.

TRAINING COURSE

Admitted students undertake a semester of their second year in Madrid and obtain a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 30 ECTS during their mobility, taking the examinations foreseen in the agreed didactic plan and possibly also carrying out part of the research work for their thesis, which will have a co-rapporteur from the Spanish university.
