OVERVIEW

Teaching consists of laboratory activities designed to put into practice, in concrete case studies, the concepts covered during the master's degree program. Application areas include cultural heritage, rehabilitation, and performing arts.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This course, titled "Cultural Welfare Technologies," consists of three modules that provide students with advanced skills in applying technology to cultural welfare. Students will gain knowledge on how technology can support rehabilitation, sensory interaction, and well-being, with a particular focus on art and culture as tools for health. The course will also explore how technology can be used to design interactive systems and innovative applications in the context of performing arts, as well as how digital media can enhance the experience, sharing, and reactivation of cultural content.

PREREQUISITES

Basic knowledge of human-computer interaction topics (design cycle, development and evaluation of traditional user interfaces, interaction design methodologies) is helpful.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Students with valid certifications for Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) may request accommodations for exams at least 7 days prior to the exam date by filling out the “accommodation request form” (available via online services at https://modulionline.unige.it/richiesta-adattamenti# no-back), which will be automatically forwarded by the system to the instructor in charge of the course and to the faculty liaison for students with disabilities and SLDs in their School/Department.
