It is designed for students enrolled in the Bachelor’s degree program in *Sports Policy, Governance, and Information* (PoGIS) and the Master’s degree program in *Information and Publishing*. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The initiative involves conducting and managing a 12-hour workshop on social media management and sports communication. Led by an industry professional, the workshop includes a theoretical-conceptual introduction and an overview of the tools used. Led by an industry professional, the workshop includes a theoretical-conceptual introduction and an overview of the tools used. This initial phase introduces the principles and approaches defining the roles and skills required for sports communication and social media content creation. Communication techniques and strategies will be explored in depth, alongside the specific characteristics of sports communication. The second phase of the workshop involves active student participation in content creation, supported by the instructors. Upon completion of the workshop, the content produced may be published on the PoGIS website and the *Information and Publishing* Master’s program blog, Infoedmag.it. The professional leading the workshop will work in collaboration with Prof. Bruno Barba, the PoGIS coordinator. PREREQUISITES No prerequisites required. TEACHING METHODS Four in-person sessions featuring multimedia aids, guided classroom discussions, and individual exercises. Attendance at three out of the four sessions is required to earn the two credits.
