OVERVIEW

The course deals with the basic structures of the general science of self-formation, education and cultural instruction of the human being.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course wants to get the knowledge related to the theoric and theoretical foundations of the general science of education and human formation, moving from its scientific structure and from the objects of study. Specific reference is set on the structural ideas that are advantageous and essential in the context of educational and teaching / instructive relationships. The
complexity of the teaching profession is reflected by the structure of research, criticism, logic, discourse and language of Pedagogy. Attention is projected both on the educational, teaching, learning and formational dynamics, analyzing them from the historical-etymological origins, both on the categories of the human being in formation, both on the educational environments in contemporary world.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The acquisition of appropriate knowledges and abilities in the process of comprehension regarding the scientific foundations of Pedagogy General and its objects of study is revolved to improve the skills to understand, interpret and deal with the problems associated with the self-formation, education and cultural instruction of the human being.

TEACHING METHODS

Lessons are conducted in the presence of the teacher and have mainly character of lectures. Within the course, group activities and seminars can be provided.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The program of the course will consist, mainly, in the following contents: self-formation, education and cultural instruction as objects of study of General Pedagogy; the questions of logic, language and method in Pedagogy; the Pedagogical Sciences, the Educational Sciences and the Formation Sciences; intra-disciplinarity, inter-disciplinarity and trans-disciplinarity in Pedagogy.

EXAMS

EXAM DESCRIPTION

Exam is written. The written exam is finalized to verify acquired knowledge by the Students and their critical capabilities in the elaboration of the learned contents.

Evaluation criteria: relevance of contents, argumentation of acquired knowledge, logical coherence, language properties, critical-problematic ability.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The written exam, lasting 60 minutes, is organized into a small number of open questions. During the course of the examination, students can consult books in the program.

Students have to attend the exam with the program of the current academic year in, even if they are enrolled in previous academic years. In the case of insufficient results, students will have to attend the exam again in the same manner.

Other Informations
