The written multiple-choice test assesses knowledge of the main risk factors and natural history of head and neck and oral cavity tumours, understanding of the principles of staging and their clinical significance, the recognition of precancerous and cancerous lesions of the oral cavity, and knowledge of the toxicity of anticancer treatments in the oral cavity. Assessment is based on the number of correct answers; the test is passed upon reaching a minimum score of 18 points, a threshold considered adequate to certify the achievement of the expected learning outcomes.

FURTHER INFORMATION

The examination consists of a written test with multiple-choice questions. The test is passed by reaching the pass mark, set at 18 points. As this is a module within an integrated course, the result contributes to the determination of the overall mark of the integrated course.
