AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Knowledge definitions of sport and sporting activity; overview of the evolution of the concept of sport; main classifications of sports; main models of sports performance; characteristics of endurance sports. Skills analyze and compare sports disciplines; distinguish performance models; describe perceptual and self-regulatory elements of endurance; participate in collaborative activities. Transferable Skills critical thinking; connection between theory and practice; interpretation of the sport phenomenon. ASSESSMENT METHODS The exam evaluates: knowledge of theoretical content; understanding of the main classification and performance models in sport; ability to use appropriate technical terminology; ability to connect theoretical and applied aspects of the discipline.
