Teaching involves acquiring knowledge of adapted physical activity in internal and neurodegenerative diseases by comparing adapted physical activity patterns with rehabilitation patterns. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The teaching aims to study the rehabilitative aspects of the main internal diseases, highlighting for each area of pathology the rehabilitative pathway, the limits of effectiveness, and the criteria for rehabilitative stabilization of the various conditions. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Acquire knowledge on assessment modalities in physical and rehabilitation medicine and adapted physical activity through self-reported outcome measures, validated clinical scales, and, in special cases, objective assessment tools such as static and dynamic baropodometry. Acquire knowledge on the theoretical and practical aspects of the individual rehabilitation plan with regard to physical and rehabilitation medicine and the training program with regard to adapted physical activity in internal pathologies. Acquire knowledge on the synergies to be implemented between the rehabilitation plan and the training program. TEACHING METHODS Lecture with explanatory videos and educational cases to comment on. Cases with certification of DSA, disability, or other special educational needs are advised to contact both the Department representative, Prof. Nicola Girtler, and the teacher at the beginning of classes to agree on teaching and exam methods that, in compliance with the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning methods and provide suitable compensatory tools/dispensatives recognized by the University's DSA Student Service. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Internistic pathologies of interest for rehabilitation physical medicine and adapted physical activity Outcome measures: patient-reported outcomes Outcome measures: healthcare reported outcome The outcome measures: the quality of life and disability scales The use of static and dynamic stabilometry/baropodometry for the assessment of balance disorders Training modalities in subjects with mild, moderate, severe disabilities both in traditional settings and in hydrotherapy.
