Information updated until 30/06/2026 CODE 117953 ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 CREDITS 12 cfu anno 2 MARITIME SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 11929 (L-28 R) - GENOVA LANGUAGE English TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA MODULES Questo insegnamento è composto da: INTERNATIONAL MARITIME LAW SHIP MANAGEMENT OVERVIEW The Teaching Unit is divided in two modules: - Ship Management: - Inyernational Maritime Law: theoretical and practical knowledge relating to operations in the maritime and port industry, from the perspective of customary and treaty international law, European Union law, national law and maritime traffic practice AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The teaching unit covers the main elements related to the analysis and assessment of occupational and environmental risks, specifically within the context of current legislation and regulations. Practical and applicative aspects are given careful attention. Another goal of the course is to promote students' greater awareness of transversal skills, which are essential prerequisites for personal and professional development.
