31/07/2026 Every day, a large proportion of the world’s internet traffic travels via a network of submarine cables linking continents and countries. These are vital pieces of infrastructure for global connectivity and require increasingly specialised skills to design, manage and protect them.To meet this need, the University of Genoa has launched the Level II Master’s in Digital Subsea Infrastructure, developed in collaboration with Sparkle and SubOptic Foundation.The programme will train professionals capable of tackling the technological, environmental, economic and regulatory challenges of a rapidly evolving sector, through an international curriculum developed in collaboration with leading companies and organisations in the field.Full details can be found in the university magazine.
