The course aims to introduce the student to the basic principles of medical research through the comprehension of the statistical science.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

In the field of statistics, the student must acquire knowledge about:
the principles of Evidence Based Medicine,
the methodology of clinical research and clinical trials controlled the statistical aspects of diagnostic tests,
what are the meta-analysis,
to write and read a scientific article.
