The course provides a detailed knowledge of the principles of prevention and epidemiology in order to provide the student the ability to apply the main preventive measures for maintaining good health.
The student must have basic knowledge on the principles of prevention and epidemiology.
The educational activities provided by the course will be made up of 24 hours of lessons, during which, with the use of appropriate media will be presented and discussed with the students all the topics that will require knowledge at the time of the final assessment. The topics covered during the lectures are only the track to the study to be completed by the student also with the ausilio of specialized books.

Eradication of infectious diseases Infection transmission homogeneous and heterogeneous, heteronymous and homonymous. Indoor air quality (IAQ): chemical and physical contamination and microbial contamination. Hygiene problems related to aeraulic systems. Risks from biological agents. Definition and criteria for the surveillance of nosocomial infections. Etiology, epidemiology and prevention of infectious diseases: Hepatitis A, B, C; AIDS; Legionellosis; Influenza Ebola
