The information below concerns the theoretical part. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES (FURTHER INFO) Improving competence in the English code, both from a descriptive and from a communicative point of view. TEACHING METHODS 36 hours (3 hours over 12 weeks) to be held mainly in class and, to a lesser extent, through distance learning. Active participation on the part of students is required. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The course introduces students to the scientific description of the phonology, morphology and syntax of the English language. During the exam the student must demonstrate that s/he is able to apply the notions learnt during the course to text analysis.
