The module will develop the theme of the feasibility of urban transformation both from the economic, social and environmental point of view, with particular reference to a municipal planning process. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES Supplies the theoretical and operational tools for assessing the feasibility of urban and territorial transformation interventions. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The objective of the module is to provide theoretical knowledge and operational tools to be able to face and solve the evaluation questions relating to the evaluation of the sustainability of projects at different scales. At the end of the course, the student will be able to: • identify the characteristics of a territory using SWOT analysis • define alternative development scenarios and project proposals for territorial areas and areas using the results of the SWOT analysis • verify project proposals using monetary and non-monetary valuation methodologies • evaluate the economic and qualitative effects of the project proposals TEACHING METHODS The educational path of the module is developed on three levels: • "frontal" lessons in the classroom on analysis and evaluation methodologies; • thematic insights through the consultation of materials made available by the teacher on Aul @ web of the Urban Planning and Feasibility course and on the Urban Planning and Feasibility Teaching Team 21_22); • classroom exercises on the application of analysis and evaluation methodologies. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Nella prima parte del modulo saranno introdotte le metodologie di analisi e valutazione di tipo qualitativo e quantitativo e trattata nello specifico l’analisi SWOT per la definizione dei punti di forza, debolezza, opportunità e minacce del territorio assegnato a ciascun gruppo di lavoro in ordine agli aspetti demografici, economici, sociali, urbanistici, paesaggistici ed infrastrutturali. Prendendo a riferimento le tematiche di analisi del territorio di studio assegnato (qualità dello spazio pubblico, qualità dell’abitare, accessibilità e fruibilità dei beni pubblici e privati) e i risultati dell’analisi SWOT, nella fase successiva saranno quindi definiti, in modo integrato con il modulo di urbanistica, possibili scenari (alternativi) di intervento tra i quali sarà selezionato quello ritenuto prioritario per l’area di studio assegnata. Nella seconda parte del modulo, la strategia progettuale definita per lo scenario scelto sarà quindi valutata per verificarne la sostenibilità economica - sia dal punto di vista dell’operatore pubblico che da quello privato - e le possibili ricadute sul territorio interessato. L’applicazione valutativa sarà svolta per gruppi di studenti.
