Allow to recognize the processes and aspects that characterize the group dynamics and to provide skills for reading and managing groups. Analyze the group as a work tool and present the application contexts and different intervention methods. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES In particular, the teaching aims are to provide students with basic notions of group psychology applied to different contexts and to focus on specific intervention techniques in different contexts. Individual study, attendance and participation in the proposed training activities will enable the student to: acquire adequate theoretical knowledge, methodological and skills related to the application of different methods and group intervention techniques in different application contexts. apply their knowledge and understanding and solving problems related to the use of methods and group techniques in various application contexts. use, both conceptually and operative mode, the knowledge gained from self-evaluation skills and expertise in different application contexts. acquire the typical discipline technical language to be able to communicate clearly and unambiguously with specialists and non-specialist interlocutors. develop appropriate learning skills to allow them to independently investigate major issues, techniques and methods of discipline especially in the workplace in which they will operate. TEACHING METHODS Lectures, active methods, practical exercises and case studies. Students with DSA, disability or other special educational needs are invited to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course to agree on teaching and exam methods which, in compliance with the teaching objectives, take into account the methods of individual learning and provide suitable compensatory tools. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The course will focus on the group in the psychosocial perspective, starting from different definitions and types of group analyzing the dynamic processes and the structural dimensions, the relational and decision-making processes, the communication and emotional dimensions with a focus on listening skills, identity, belonging and the different models of leadership. These aspects will be considered in groups belonging to different contexts: the class group, the working group, virtual groups etc. In addition, they will be considered methods and group techniques in different settings: action research, self-help groups, focus groups, peer education, cooperative learning, team building, role playing.
