The course belongs to the scientific field of Sociology of political phenomena. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course aims to provide students with: the specific competences and tools to define and analyse social innovation, a phenomenon which, according to the sociological perspective adopted, is linked at various levels to political change in contemporary society; an understanding of the most relevant contemporary transformations related to ongoing social change; the ability to apply knowledge and understanding to specific contexts or strategic case studies in order to develop a critical and independent analysis. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The course aims to provide students with: the specific knowledge with which the sociological perspective defines and analyzes the social innovation and considers what phenomenon linked to political change in contemporary society; the ability to understand the most relevant contemporary transformations in the areas of reference in relation to the ongoing social change; the ability to apply knowledge and understanding skills to specific contexts or case-studies aimed at critical and autonomous analysis. PREREQUISITES The basic knowledge of political sociology is suggested. For this purpose any edition of a Handbook of Political Sociology may be used. TEACHING METHODS The course includes: - 48 hours of class (8cfu) - 36 hours of class (6cfu) The course will be organized adopting synchronous and asynchronous distance learning. For the, introductory meetings will be organized. In addition, regular face-to-face meetings are scheduled for students enrolled in the first year of graduation, in a manner that will be detailed at the beginning of the lessons, in order to create a path of introduction and knowledge of the environment university university, also making contact with the headquarters of the Dispo at the "Albergo dei Poveri".
