The discipline represents a novelty in the pedagogical panorama of the national university educational offer. The originality consists in declining the intercultural didactic questions on the specific side of a sustainable tourist offer, able to enhance the places, and the cultural products both natural and artificial of human activity

    AIMS AND CONTENT

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to illustrate the epistemological foundations of the discipline highlighting the links with the tourist practices and the reflections on the development of specific intercultural skills. The constructs of hospitality, receptivity and care are themed as founding nucleuses of the tourist experience as an educational-learning event, opening the way to original forms of design, communication and evaluation of the tourist offer able to achieve an effective welding between sustainability and differentiated needs of tourists.

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the course, students will have to demonstrate that they

    1. know and understand the pedagogical-didactic nuclei of the intercultural tourist experience
    2. design a tourist offer that is sustainable and intercultural at the same time, capable of being configured for the tourist as a transformative, reflective and self-directed learning experience, and for the territory as an experience of valorization of the places and local productions
    3. communicate the tourism offer to specialists and non-specialists within the pedagogical framework of lifelong and lifewide learning
    4. Critically evaluate the results achieved and redesign the tourist offer in the logic of continuous improvement.

    TEACHING METHODS

The teaching activity favors the active and participatory character, through teaching methods capable of involving, motivating and interest students in the topics covered. The teacher's lesson will be varied through different strategies, and frequent use will be made of group and plenary discussions capable of stimulating reflection. Other multimedia materials will also be used to socialize collaborative and self-directed learning.

If it is not possible, for health reasons, to carry out the lessons in presence, they will be delivered remotely using the University platforms TEAMS and/or AULAWEB
