AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This course will equip students with the necessary skills to design technical representations through orthogonal projections, in compliance with UNI/EN/ISO standards. The course will also provide essential knowledge for computer-assisted model design, as well as construction details that are particularly relevant in the nautical sector.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

This course aims to introduce the main concepts of the sector, more specifically:
- representation methodologies and orthogonal projections;
- sections, dimensions, micro and macrogeometric tolerances.

The course will also more deeply analyze certain important topics within the field of nautical engineering, namely:
- removable and permanent links;
- hull construction drawings of typical vessels.
