    AIMS AND CONTENT

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    The teaching aims to:

    • - to acquire the ability to observe and evaluate neuro and psychomotor skills in the developmental age, the early recognition of disorders in development and their prevention and timely, global and multidisciplinary care.
    • - introduce issues related to the development of the attachment process and the newborn / parent relationship and the interaction between family and socio-environmental context according to the "Family Centered Care" concept.
    • - Provide knowledge about neurological problems and risks related to Premature Birth, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Deficits and Learning Disorders in school age.

    EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS:

    • At the end of the course the student will be able to:
    • - Know the basic elements of the Major Psychomotor development disorders in the developmental age;
    • - Promptly recognize pathological signs;
    • - Describe analytically the methods of observation / evaluation of psychomotor development;
    • - Apply a prevention and family support program;
    • - Building the bases of the therapeutic-rehabilitative project and outlining the basic principles of multidisciplinary care;

    EXAM DESCRIPTION

    Oral and / or multiple choice test. Score in thirtieths attributed according to the degree of knowledge and training acquired.

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    The knowledge and skills in each discipline belonging to the Integrated Course will be investigated.
    Learning skills will be evaluated through the request of specific notions concerning each discipline. The independence of judgment will be evaluated through the formulation of problem solving and communication skills through the use of appropriate terminology.
