This workshop will present a number of educational and assistive technologies, examining how these tools can be used in practice. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities that give them a tangible sense of the potential these technologies offer for inclusive education.
This workshop intends to provide basic skills on the use of technologies for inclusive teaching that are needed by all kindergarten and primary school teachers. This workshop will present a number of educational and assistive technologies, examining how these tools can be used in practice. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities that give them a tangible sense of the potential these technologies offer for inclusive education. Students will understand the importance of: - know how to search effectively online to locate services that support inclusion-oriented teaching - customising digital resources in response to different user needs in order to facilitate learning - suitably combining fixed and mobile devices, depending on motor, visual or cognitive abilities - being aware of alternative communication devices that can be used in place of standard channels
The aim of the teaching is that the participants understand the importance that educational technologies have in the process of school inclusion
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Synchronous laboratory, remote management of space on the platform.
It will provide 16 hours of laboratory activities are planned entirely online in synchronous mode, in the dedicated teams channel. Every business will face a different theme through practical experiences .
The topics will be :
- Assistive technologies
- The functions of "Accessibility " of the operating systems ( desktop version and mobile )
- Online services to support a teaching -oriented integration
- Customize your digital asset depending on the user needs to be able to facilitate learning
- Aids for Augmentative and Alternative Communication ( AAC )
- The tools to create talking books and ebooks accessible
- Compensatory tools for DSA

It is not provided for an examination , it is a laboratory
Will be evaluated exercises related to each workshop activities planned
