    AIMS AND CONTENT

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

    In the framework of the International Classification (ICF classification) we will be analyzed cases of childrens with disabilities in need of educational interventions in the school context. Particular attention will be devoted to customized educational planning. The laboratory acrivities will present the characteristics of the individual age of kindergarten and primary school students. The laboratory activities, through learning techniques and teaching cooperative, has the aim of enhancing together the activities and reflections proposed in the Special Education course, the value of the human person as a resource, both in the time of learning and in that of teaching. This relation is not considered only a technique only, but a human quality that adds value in the educational relationship

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    To Know and to use the UN guidelines on the Convention on The Rights of persons with Disabilities to promote an inclusion project.

    Knowing how to prepare educational activities for the deconstruction of stereotypes and prejudices, aiming to raise awareness of the value of each individual person to create inclusion.

    To know the special teaching in use in the classroom and / or in the section to promote the inclusion and inclusion of children with disabilities.

    To know the different types of disabilities and the work tools for the design and organization of teaching.

    Knowing how to use specific educational and didactic methodologies, as well as the common tools of special pedagogy to write the pei and evaluate the results of didattict path

    Knowing how to share a pedagogical and didactic project with the other class components and with families and social and health institutions

    Knowing how to design a path of school continuity.

     

     

    TEACHING METHODS

    The workshop is practical and requires involvement and active participation.

    The use of different materials to work in groups on specific methodologies and tools are presented and proposed

    During the workshop students experiment with the professional craft and practice with the technologies and materials proposed.

    SYLLABUS/CONTENT

    During the workshop multimedia and paper materials will be presented regarding the following topics:
    - The UN Convention on the Rights of the Person with Disabilities;
    - the ICF as a tool for the drafting of an PEI/PDV;

    - The indications for the drafting of the PEI: Who does what and how;
    - The different approaches to disability;
    - Creating an inclusive classroom environment;

    - Methodological approaches and tools for inclusive teaching: peer tutoring, cooperative learning, metacognition, etc.
    - Inclusive evaluation;

    The materials will be a support for the preparation of a final work, prepared individually or in groups, to be presented to the teacher and other students at the end of the laboratory;

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    During the lab students will prepare a specific project on the analyzed materials. Students will describe their project (written alone or with others) to professor and other students at the end of the lab.
