This workshop intends to provide basic skills on the use of mobile devices and ICTs for the everyday instructional activities in the classroom. During the workshop, a selection of strategies and digital applications will be presented to elaborate effective teaching strategies. In particular, the workshop is aimed at developing the folling educational purposes: • We will analyse the teaching strategies for the use of mobile devices and most innovative ICTs • We will simulate lesson planning with the use of mobile devices • We will experience lessons with the Episodes of Situated learning • We will create digital materials (animations, videos, etc.), for kindergarten and primary school In addition, for kindergarten, we will propose activities based on tactility, perception. language
New media and digital technologies can be exploited to transform the way in which teachers design teaching and conduct lessons in the classroom, with the aim of making learning more effective.
In particular, the increasing flexibility of online environments (sites, platforms, services, web applications, ...) and tools for the self-production of digital content (materials, mobile apps, games, simulations, ...) offers the possibility to propose complete digital teaching experiences, based on innovative teaching formats.
In this laboratory, some of the main digital technologies that can be used in kindergarten and primary school will be explored to offer integrated teaching experiences, with particular attention to collaborative teaching.
The laboratory intends to present and use, both individually and in a collaborative way, some digital technologies that can be exploited in kindergarten and primary school to support the experimentation of integrated learning experiences. Particular attention will be paid to making known and using technological tools that allow to design and create (also in collaborative mode) multimedia and interactive content aimed at pre-primary and primary school children.
Attendance and active participation in the learning activities proposed in the laboratory will allow the student to know and use the main technological tools that can be used to design and implement (both individually and with the collaboration of other colleagues):
Digital tools for remote learning and integrated digital learning
