At the end of the course, the student must: have an in-depth knowledge of pre-implant surgical anatomy know the principles of bone regeneration and peri-implant mucogingival surgery be able to clinically recognize peri-implantitis and treat it have acquired the correct terminology to be able to describe the surgical / prosthetic procedures in case of implant rehabilitation
- the tooth and the implant (similarities and differences) - osseointegration - surgical anatomy - the flaps - connective tissue grafts - surgical procedures in implantology - bone regeneration - peri-implantitis
