to acquire knowledge and practical skills for the first aid approach to cardiac arrest and to the use of AED; first aid for wounds, hemorrhages, burns and trauma

to be alble to recognize the most common diseases in Internal Medicine

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

First aid and initial treatment of cardiac arrest, with notions on the semi-automatic external defibrillator.

Technical knowledge and manual skills of first aid in case of wounds, haemorrhages, burns and trauma.

Dyspnea

Chest pain (etiopathogenesis, elements of electrocardiography, e.c.g. and enzymatic monitoring, therapeutic basis of ischemic heart disease)

Loss of consciousness (syncope, seizure, coma, pseudo-coma)

Shock (cardiogenic, hypovolemic, anaphylactic, septic, neurogenic)

Hypertensive emergency

Thrombosis-thromboembolism

Acute abdomen
