Body expression is essential in conducting physical activities, sports and leisure, individuals and groups. At a good level it teaches to observe, understand and create with the movement. Therefore, it is useful in the creative context and in sports.
At the end of the course the student should know:
In this integrated educational module, the technical and methodological knowledge, related to the specific physical activities aimed at achieving the well-being of the person, are detailed within the motor entertainment field.
<>--Develop skills in expressive languages and the interaction between movement and affective/cognitive processes.
Frontal lessons in class (theory) and in the gym (practical), supported by multimedia devices (e.g. Computers, projectors, videos, music, etc. )
The categories of Dynamics. Space, weight, time and flow offer the chance to experience and perceive the many ways in which the same movement can be performed. (communicative/expressive aspect)
Space. Space as volume, personal space and general space. Levels, direction, trails and paths. R. Laban, the scale of movement built around the vertical, horizontal and sagittal axes.
The quality of the movement. Knowing how to perform in relation to the quality of movement (space, weight, time, energy). Moving in a personal and non-stereotyped, favoring one's own pace or the proposed pace. Movement observation through photographs, illustrations and movies.
Weight and balance. Counter and accommodate the weight. Quantitative and qualitative aspect of movement.
The intention in the movement. An accelerated or decelerated attitude towards time, a direct or indirect attitude with respect to space, lightness and strength compared to weight, control or freedom from the flow, indicate the personal character that is expressed in the movement itself.
Objects. Re-invent the function of objects: everyday use and support for choreography. Each object, due to the shape and the material of which it is composed, has a specific purpose, thus lends itself to different uses. R.Laban, the scale of movement built around the diagonal of a cube. (Quality of movement)
The dancing couple. The group. Adapt to another's rhythm, folk dance.
Music. The rhythmic-motor behaviors. Using sounds in motor elaboration (voice word, instruments).
Composition. Observe, compose, represent. Represent ideas, moods and stories using gestures and postures individually, in pairs and in groups.
Observation and analysis of the movement. Recognizing the possible interactions between expressive languages and other areas: artistic, educational, sports, etc.
