    OVERVIEW

    Therapeutic education consists in a real transfer, through a shared contract, from the carer to the patient of knowledge and skills, in a perspective in which the patient’s dependence gradually gives way to his responsibility. All this takes on greater importance in the rehabilitation

    " Theories of Communication" as well as the relational and communication skills "effective" also through group work carried out in the classroom.

    Lectures and group discussion on the topics covered

    Students with DSA, disability or other special educational needs are warmly invited to contact the teachers at the beginning of the course to agree on teaching methods that, in compliance with the teaching objectives, take account of individual learning arrangements and provide appropriate compensatory tools.

    The exams of the integrated courses take place in the university of Genoa in a single moment and the Examination Commissions, chaired by the Coordinators of the integrated courses or by their delegates, must be composed in accordance with art.29 c.5 and c.6 of the University Teaching Regulations.

    As per the Teaching Regulations of the Course of Study, The examinations of profit can be carried out exclusively in the periods dedicated to it and called exam sessions. The moments of verification cannot normally coincide with the periods during which the training activities take place.

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    Verification of the attainment of knowledge through evaluation of written work and oral presentation.

    Students with DSA or other regularly certified special educational needs can agree with the teacher on the written or oral modality, contacting the teachers at least 10 days before the exam. They can also enjoy 30% additional time.
