LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course provides the elements for the definition and analysis of marine biodiversity. Specifically, the course defines and illustrates: methodologies and tools used in the field to measure biodiversity, the main samling designs used in marine biodiversity monitoring activities, the statistical techniques to be applied in data analysis and the main strategies for biodiversity conservation.
