    OVERVIEW

    The use of appropriate software tools cannot be any more distinguished from the theoretical aspects of Control a Systems Theory. For this reason, the course aims to review in such a  way the contents of the courses of Systems Theory, Automatic Control and Discrete Event Systems.

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

    The course aims to teach the students the use of software tools to solve efficiently the problems faced in the previous theoretical courses in Control and Systems Theory

    At the end of the course the student will be able to build up a simulation model of a system, check its behaviour and perform 'what if' analysys.

    PREREQUISITES

    Systems Theory, Automatic Control, Discrete Event Systems

    Front lessons with computer examples. Test exercises proposed to the students and their solution

    EXAM DESCRIPTION

    Examination via computer exercise.Students with learning disorders ("disturbi specifici di apprendimento", DSA) will be allowed to use specific modalities and supports that will be determined on a case-by-case basis in agreement with the delegate of the Engineering courses in the Committee for the Inclusion of Students with Disabilities.

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    The student will be given a model to represent in the simulation software. The system will be analyzed and a 'what if' study performed
